Lucky hotel ‘s Testimonials

I stayed at the Lucky Hotel in March 2009. I found that the rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were efficient and polite, and the guests seemed to be discrete and quiet. Laundry service was free of charge. The hotel manager was friendly, helpful, and fair. I did not experience the noise described in other reviews, but I am not surprised that there has been construction in the area as in the rest of Hanoi. However, traffic noise was almost non-existent. It has been widely reported that the Vietnamese economy has been undergoing a period of inflation recently. All prices are increasing whether they are charged in dong or dollars. Notwithstanding these changes, I look forward to my next stay at the Lucky Hotel.

I am currently staying in Lucky hotel and i should say that their services are quite impressive.

cable tv, tap water, internet, laundry, electricity, tissue is free. everyday my laundry is placed in my room. maids kept my bathroom, pantry and room clean.

so far everything is fine... no price increase or noise.

my only complain is i am quite far from the city center that is why i might move in the next few months. but so far i am very much satisfied with the hotel's services.

We stayed st the Lucky Hotel in August 2009. What made this hotel really special was how courteous, informed and gracious the staff is.All their recommendations were great. The early morning view of Hang Tron street from the balcony is a wonderful memory of my visit. The rooms are lovely too.Carol

Hi, this was our first trip to Ha Noi and I have to say I was a bit worring about staying in Ha Noi. The sercuity there was to a high standard. The resort themselves were just beautiful, the landscapes, food and not to foget the great breakfast at all moring. The room we had was a bit small but clean and tidy. The staffs are fantastic, they went out of the way to make our hoilday enjoyable. We just carnt wait to come back .Thank you so much!

This was the first time I came to Hanoi and stayed in your hotel. I realized that the well equipment and friendly staffs are the main reasons why I prefer your hotel.

The staff are the friendliest you could wish to meet

A few years ago we discovered the Lucky Hotel, and what a find it was.  We prefer to always stay in the same room which has good amenities and a wonderfully large balcony.  Breakfast for us is Pho Bo - how can you be in Vietnam and not start the day with this delicious local fare.  The Pho at the Lucky is the best in Ha Noi.  The staff are the friendliest you could wish to meet and we now consider them our friends.  We have returned again and again, always to find the same smiling faces welcoming us back to our Ha Noi home.  We heartily recommend Lucky 1 to everyone.

I stayed at this hotel last month. What an excellent hotel and wonderful staff which nothing was to much trouble for them. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Everything about the hotel was enjoyable and the location was great and they made our first visit to Ha Noi feel very special indeed.

My daughter and I stayed at your hotel two weeks and were very impressed with our accomodations. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the service was fantastic. Our room maids were so nice to us and were a joy to meet. Thank you for such a nice place to come back to after our fun filled days of roaming around the city. I appreciated the coffee being available in the morning as well.

We stayed at The Lucky Hotel for one night in March 2009. Overall I would say it was the best hotel we stayed during our trip around Ha Noi. The hotel is nice, clean, safe and well located. It is remarkably cheap given the standard of accommodation

This is my second visit to Hanoi. This time my friend recommended that I stay at Lucky Hotel 1. The receptionists were very helpful. My room was nice,I like the furniture and the huge bed. The bathroom was nice also. I would recommend to everyone, who is planning a trip to Hanoi. That they stay here. Lucky Hotel 1, is in the heart of Hanoi. So shopping is a breeze. Every weekend at night time there is a street market named Hang Dao. It is amazing, there are stalls selling everything.Hoan Kiem Lake is near. there is activities everywhere around this lake. The breakfast at Lucky Hotel 1, was delicious and is always served hot. From USD 35 a night you can not get a better nights sleep. Stay here at Lucky Hotel 1 like I have, and enjoy a great stay in Hanoi.
Lucky 2 - Kool hotel to stay

We stayed for 3 nights at the Lucky 2 Hotel, which apparently is the more updated version of the Lucky 1, just down the road. Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s a cute little boutique place, so no frills here. Nice clean sheets, clean bathroom, average free breakfast. Internet is available, supposedly for 1USD/hour, however, they never charged us for checking our email and quick browsing of the web. We had a suite, which was spacious. The bathroom was clean, with plenty of counter space. All this for $50 in the middle of Old Quarters. The caveat is that the Old Quarters can be noisy and the air a bit polluted. The hotel is in the middle of everything. Would we stay there again? Probably.

Lucky Hotel: Great Suite

As Hanoi was our last stop in Vietnam, the little lady and I decided we’d go out in style and opted for the suite at the Lucky Hotel. It was $45 USD but so worth it. A balcony that overlooked the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and much of greater Hanoi. We ordered room service and sat on the balcony soaking in the sights and sounds of the city. FANTASTIC!

Lucky Hotel: “Great Deluxe room”

This was our first time in Hanoi, we were coming for a weekend break from Kuala Lumpur. After comparing several hotels reviews in this price range I decided to book me and my husband into the Lucky Hotel where I’d asked for a deluxe room with a balcony. We got picked up from the airport and taken to Lucky 1 where the receptionist seemed confused and moved us to Lucky 2 Hotel down the road instead. This made me a little worried because I had read in a few reviews that they sometimes give your room away if you arrive in the evening (not that this should matter since I had confirmed the arrival time with the hotel). This is exactly what happened, the people who had our deluxe room had decided to stay another night so we were placed in a cheaper room with no windows. I was not happy with the small room and asked the receptionist why they had given our room away when we had asked especially for a balcony, and so on. After a few minutes discussing they agreed on giving us a small discount on the small room and promised that in the morning we could move to a Deluxe room.

I thought the small room was a bit claustrophobic but everything was nice and clean, breakfast was also good. When we moved to our deluxe room we LOVED it, it was big and spacey with a great balcony with view over the city. I would definitely recommend to stay here in the Deluxe room, for USD 45 it was great value and the hotel location is fantastic. Could be worth calling up on the day to guarantee the room is still yours, though
